Companion Animal Rescue and Medical Assistance (Carma) has saved the lives of almost 5,000 dogs and cats and turned the Village of Corrales into the first no-kill community in New Mexico. CARMA helps homeless, abandoned, and abused animals by finding loving, permanent homes for the many cats and dogs that are awaiting adoption. CARMA's cats live in a cage-free and communal environment.
Volunteers with ABQ Involved will help paint a cattery room for Carma! Volunteers must be age 18 or older. Please wear close-toed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a little paint on.
