Join us bright and early to help end hunger in New Mexico! We will join Roadrunner Food Bank volunteers for the weekly mobile food distribution. Volunteers should arrive by 7:15am and expect to stay until roughly 11:30am. Distributions will be drive-through with clients remaining in their vehicles. Volunteer tasks may include traffic control, client registration, loading vehicles, or bagging produce. Volunteers should bring a 3-ply face covering, wear close-toed shoes, and dress for the weather. Children under 16 years old should be accompanied by an adult.
While the mask mandate has been lifted for New Mexico, Roadrunner Food Bank is proceeding with caution and will continue to require face masks for all volunteer activities, even outdoors. Please wear a 3-ply mask. Most medical masks are already 3-ply but check the packaging. If you chose to wear a cloth mask, it should be 3-ply or you should add a filter.
