Join us to help Mandy’s Farm at their AgrAbility site. Tasks include weeding, general site clean up to prepare for winter, and other agriculture-related tasks. Volunteers should be prepared to be in the sun, wear sunscreen, wear closed-toed shoes and wear clothing to protect from weeds and scratchy plants. We will have plenty of water for everyone and lots of tools, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own tools, too. Please bring your own work gloves. Kids 12 and up are welcome to volunteers at this event.

Mandy’s Farm AgrAbility Program focus on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. AgrAbility creates opportunities for disabled farmers to enter, or return to, agriculturally-based employment. Mandy’s Farm offers an Agri-Learning Program designed specifically for people with developmental disabilities who wish to access education and vocational supports around farming.
