Join ABQ Involved to help at The Children’s Grief Center of New Mexico’s 14th Annual Healing Hearts Luncheon and Silent Auction. We are volunteering to assist with registration for the event, the silent auction and closing out the auction and the end of the event. Please dress in business attire. Volunteers will be busy throughout the entire event and will not have time for a lunch break. We ask that all volunteers come having already eaten and ready to help raise some very impactful dollars for Children’s Grief Center.
The Children’s Grief Center (CGC) of New Mexico provides special support services for children, teens, young adults (ages 5-25) and their caregivers after the death of a loved one. During the school year, CGC offers peer support groups at their main location in Albuquerque and their satellite location in Rio Rancho. During the summer and holiday months, CGC offers a variety of short-term services in various locations, including Camp Corazon. Families are never charged for services and CGC is the only service of this kind in Central New Mexico.
