At the Rio Grande Food Project’s Hunger Relief Community Garden, community comes together to grow, learn, and share healthy food offerings with family, friends, and those in need. On Saturday, July 20th, please join us to clean up and beautify the garden in preparation for an Open House. Please come dressed for outdoor gardening. Volunteers are welcome and encouraged to stay for the Open House immediately following the gardening project. This event is kid friendly.
Directions: From I-40 take Coors Blvd. South, go under walking bridge overpass, pass Fortuna and you’ll see steeple for Rio Grande Presbyterian Church on left. Get in left turn lane and make left on Daytona. Go past the church building on your left and turn left in to dirt parking lot. Turn left back towards the church. The garden is located on the north side of building.
