Please join us to support literacy with Reading Works! This event is an indoor picnic featuring a book swap, games, raffles, food and a prize wheel! Volunteers will assist with welcoming guests and working the games during the event. Reading Works will also honor their 2018 Student and Volunteer of the Year! Since 2009, Reading Works has provided free literacy tutoring to adults. Adult literacy is about individual dignity and building strong families. It's about building an inclusive community where everyone has opportunity. Community volunteers provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in Reading & Writing, English as a Second Language (ESL), Math and Digital Literacy.
