Please join us at our ABQ Involved office for our annual Open House. Come celebrate the holidays with snacks, warm drinks and a chance to meet other Albuquerque Involved members. This year, we will collect donations of personal supplies such as tampons, pads, deodorant, soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner (new or unopened) for our friends at the New Mexico Alliance of School Based Health Centers. Your donations will allow the providers at school based health centers all over Albuquerque to make sure students have their basic needs met so that they can focus on learning.
You hear stories all the time about how teachers spend their own money to buy school supplies for children in their classrooms. It is much less known that provider teams at our school based health centers spend hundreds of dollars of their own money each month to make sure students have what they needs to stay healthy. Let’s help out these providers, students and this great nonprofit organization with our donations of personal hygiene supplies to meet these basic needs.
