Natural History Museum - Improving A Walk Through New Mexico Outdoor Exhibit

  • Natural History Museum - South Side 1801 Mountain Rd NW Albuquerque, NM, 87104 United States (map)

Join us in helping landscape The Walk Through New Mexico outdoor exhibit at the Natural History Museum. We began this project last year and our goal is to continue the improvements: pulling weeds, installing plant signs, and removing cottonwood suckers in the Colorado Plateau area.

We will meet near the old Museum entrance on Mountain road, on the south side of the museum. We will provide water and a few light snacks.  Please bring any gloves and hand tools you make have (shovels, trowels, etc. useful for pulling weeds).

This is a kid-friendly event.  After our work, as a thank-you volunteers will get a private, behind-the-scenes museum tour and free museum passes.
